Prototyped Balisong Flipper

The project was developed as a functional prototype intended to bridge concept design and manufacturable production, with future potential for CNC-machined components and refined hardware integration

Proprietary balisong hardware was manually modeled in CAD, as equivalent components were unavailable through standard hardware libraries

A motion study was conducted within CAD to analyze handle movement, rotational behavior, and component interaction throughout the balisong’s operating range. The study helped validate pivot alignment, clearance between components, and overall assembly functionality prior to manufacturing.
